CV:

Dr. Christian Guilleminault received the Diplome de Resident Etranger from the University of Geneva, Switzerland in 1967.

He finished his Doctoral Thesis in Medicine at the University of Paris in 1968.

He became specialist in Neurology and Psychiatry from the University of Paris in 1970.

Dr. Guilleminault earned his Habilitation for his thesis about the obstructive sleep apnea syndrome from the University of Montpellier in 1996 and received his Doctor Degree in Biology / Neurosciences from the University of Grenoble in 1999.

Since 1985 he is Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Stanford University and Associate Director of the Stanford Sleep Research Center as well as the Director of Stanford Sleep Disorders Clinic.

Since 2002 Sr. Guilleminault is the Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Neurology at the Stanford University Medical School.

Dr. Guilleminault is active in numerous educational boards.
