FOOD AND DINING Good food is a passion for Basque people - and a compelling reason to spend some time in the Basque Country. Good dining ranges from "New Basque Cuisine" to the more traditional dishes served at coastal seafood restaurants, countryside farmhouses and grill houses. Quality and culinary artistry are guaranteed at all of these establishments. Basque cuisine wouldn't be what it is without its "pintxos," the mouthwatering, miniature meals that decorate the traditional bars in the city's old town. Don't miss out on this local delicacy. |
