Dr. Josep Mª Montserrat finished his studies in Medicine and Surgery in 1974. He obtained the speciality in Internal Medicine in 1977 and the speciality in Pneumology in 1980. He received the degree of Doctor of Medicine (Cum Laude) for his work “Control of the pulmonary ventilation in diabetes mellitus”.

Dr. Montserrat works at the Hospital Clinic in Barcelona as Senior Consultant of Pneumology. He is Professor of the Medicine Department at the Campus Casanova Medicine Faculty of the University of Barcelona. He is working on research projects.

Author and consultant of numerous articles, speaker of countless national and international courses and congresses.
