Dr. Juan Fernando Masa is Doctor in Medicine. Chief of Pulmonology Service in San Pedro de Alcántara Hospital, Cáceres, Spain. Director of Respiratory Intermediate Care and Respiratory Sleep Disorders Units in the same Hospital. Research group director in the respiratory diseases CIBER (CibeRes) from Health Institute Carlos III.

Author of more than 100 publications, mainly on Non Invasive Ventilation, Sleep Apnea and COPD. His research field is based on the Treatment with Non Invasive Ventilation during Sleep and the treatment of Sleep Apnoa Syndrome, its telematic diagnosis from patient’s home and the determination of Sleep Apnea markers as chronic sleepiness while driving and having a nap habitually.
