Dr. Igor Alexander Harsch is Physician, M.D., Associate Professor and Head of Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany.

Dr. Harsch has studied Medicine at the Ruprecht Karls University in Heidelberg, Germany. He started his studies in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology at the Westfälische Wilhelms University in Münster, Germany in 1992 and in 1993 he continued his education at the St. Nikolaus-Hospital in Büren and at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany.

Specialist in Internal Medicine, Diabetologist and Endocrinologist and since 2003 Senior Physician and Head of the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.

Dr. Harsch is the author and co-author of many publications as well as contributor to various books. He is the author of the book “The Various Types and Treatments for Obesity”.
